It is barrel-aged for 22 months in French oak of which approximately 60 percent are new. The wine is sourced from a single plot of vines on the estate that was planted in 1998. The remaining portfolio is split into three collections: the Tokara Premium is blended from mulitple sites, the Tokara Reserve is a collection of single-vineyard wines and the Tokara Directors Reserve is the icon range from the very best and most expressive parcels of vines.
