This Islay single malt was distilled at Bowmore and matured for three decades before bottling as a limited edition in 2006. Known as Bowmore Sea Dragon for the fantastic illustration that adorns the bottle, this 30-year-old expression was part of a private collection and features a personal inscription from the distillery manager at the time, Ian 'Percy' McPherson, who took over the mantle at Bowmore following the departure of Jim McEwan in 2000.

Distillery Information
Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779. The distillery is owned by Beam Suntory who also own the Auchentoshan, Glen Garioch, Laphroaig and Ardmore distilleries and produce the Teacher's Highland Cream blend.
