The grain was malted by Skagit Valley Malting, and the resulting whiskey was aged 5 years and 9 months in a combination of barrels. Some 95% of those were refill Westland barrels, half of which were heavily toasted and lightly charred, while the other half were lightly toasted and heavily charred.
