Historically Bodegas Emilio Moro cultivated vines for the production of bulk wines until changing consumer tastes invigorated the market for fine wines. Bodegas Emilio Moro has four estate vineyards: Resalso, Camino Viejo, Sanchomartín, and its oldest, Valderramiro, which was planted in 1925. The vineyards overlook the Duero river, sitting on land that sometimes reaches as high as 700m (2300ft) above sea level. The bodega produces numerous wines with various amounts of bottle- and cask-aging, which are labeled with proprietary names.
