A tiny portion of Cabernet Franc was ripped out in 2015. The property, which includes two hectares (five acres) of parkland dotted with trees, lies almost two kilometers (1.2 miles) due west of Saint-Émilion town.The château building is a former 17th Century Carthusian monastery site once belonging to the Lacaze family.
