Distilled at Balblair in Edderton, this Highland single malt has been matured for at least a quarter of a century before bottling at a strength of 46% abv. This expression is the pinnacle of the new Balblair range which is bottled by age rather than vintage.
Balblair 25 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Overripe apricots and dark liquorice with oak and saddle wax.
Palate: Oily and full bodied with citrus and chocolate pralines atop a hint of tobacco.
Finish: Long and warming with smooth blood orange notes.
