The house also co-owns Logis d'Angeac, a 100 hectare (250 acre) vineyard in the heart of Grande Champagne with a distillery dating back to 1776. The vineyard is located in what is known as the \"golden triangle\", a renowned micro-terroir on extremely chalky soils. All of the Cognacs are made entirely from this Grande Champagne fruit. The labeling of the portfolio does not use the standard designations of VS, VSOP and XO.
