Parra established his eponymous company after 15 years as a winemaker and winemaking consultant working in France, Argentina, USA, Italy, Canada and Armenia. Parra has a PhD in Terroir from the Paris Center of Agriculture. Parra eventually returned to Chile and settled in 2013 to begin wine production in his home region of Bío Bío under his own name. He produces a range of labels, predominantly from the Itata Valley subregion. The wines are predominantly blends or single-varietal examples of the local mainstays Cinsault and Pais although Muscat and Semillon can also, occaisonally, figure in the blends.
