It produces a range of red and white Bordeaux wines alongside the flagship red and white Château de Chantegrive grand vins. The family-owned estate was established in 1966 by husband-and-wife couple Henri and Françoise Lévêque and, at 96 hectares (237 acres) is one of the largest estates in the appellation. The vineyards are broken up into 160 plots composed of classic gravelly, sandy soils mixed with silt on top of clay and limestone. Two thirds of the vineyard are planted to red grape varieties and broadly split evenly between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. There are also small plantings of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The remaining third is a 50\/50 split of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.
