Vienna Roast blend of beans from a San Antonio roaster that have been sourced from Honduras, Colombia, and Brazil. These get steeped in the bourbon using the cold brew technique, which takes more than 24 hours using low temperatures. Finally, the liquid is married with 100% organic blue Weber agave nectar. Bottled at 80 proof
Nose: A delicate coffee aroma with caramel, smoke, and hints of fruit.
Palate: Starts off with coffee mixed with a dash of spice and dark chocolate.
Finish: Slightly warm with lingering cocoa and coffee notes.
Based out of Frisco, Texas, Devils River Whiskey was founded by Mike Cameron, co-founder of Rebecca Creek Whiskey, and president of the Texas Distilled Spirits Association. Their 90-proof bourbon is crafted from the pure Devils River spring waters. Texas Ranger John Coffee Hays named this great waterway the ‘Devils River’ in 1840. The naturally-filtered limestone spring water is considered the purest water in Texas.

"Picked up a bottle of this last night and could not believe the quality and flavor of both the coffee and the whiskey put together. Have not tried the Jameson version yet, but can't imagine it could be more deeply flavorful or enjoyable than Devils River. I can't say I'm a connoisseur, and I like a broad range of scotch and whiskey, but this absolutely blew me away. Not surprised it won in San Francisco. A new and probably life-long staple in my home bar. Love it!"
