This impressive single malt from Braeval joins the Old & Rare Platinum collection from independent bottler Hunter Laing. Distilled in 1989, the whisky spent 34 years maturing in a single cask, yielding a total of 170 cask strength bottles when it was opened in 2023.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1973 under the name "Braes of Glenlivet", the distillery was intended to produce malt exclusively for the needs of the blenders, especially for the brands of the owner, The Chivas and Glenlivet group. It was the most modern distillery in Scotland in those days.
