Nose: Fruit‑salad sweetness, figs, walnut, grilled nectarines, buttered wholemeal toast.

Palate: Cherry fruit leather, toast, butter, orchard fruit and subtle oak spice.

Finish: Caramel, dark chocolate, orange peel, nutmeg and lingering warm wood.

Cadenhead’s, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, established in 1842, specialises in unique and small‑batch releases under labels like “Enigma” where the exact distillery is undisclosed (hence “Enigma”). This particular Lowland release originates from the Lowland region but the distillery remains unnamed. It demonstrates Cadenhead’s focus on first‑fill quality barrels, non‑chill filtration and expressive cask maturation.
