Historically a winemaking family, our ancestors owned and operated 11 vineyards in Western Armenia before escaping the Armenian Genocide and resettling in the US. After finding success in America, we entered the wine industry once again in 2014, fulfilling a promise we made to ourselves over a century ago. We took a leap of faith and planted a stake in Artsakh on 30 hectares of land in Banadzor village near the south-eastern province of Hadrut. Takri, which fittingly means roots in Artsakh Armenian, represents our family’s long-held dream of returning to our ancestral craft.
