The Sherry Collection exhibits the unique influence imparted by different types of Sherry casks on the Tomatin spirit in an exceptional showcase. This expression aged in Manzanilla casks is one of three different expressions each one selected to highlight the exceptional flavours these casks bring to Tomatin Single Malt.
Tomatin 2014 Sherry Collection Manzanilla Cask 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Sourdough bread and salted popcorn.
Palate: Dried fruits, chamomile tea, grapefruit, maple syrup and salted walnut.
Finish: Slightly salty, typical of a Manzanilla sherry, with warming brown butter.
Distillery Information
The Tomatin Spey District Distillery was registered on 8th June 1897, however unfortunately it was closed in 1906. Luckily, the company was purchased by experienced wine and spirits merchants and reopened as the New Tomatin Distillers Company Ltd.
