This single cask of Glenglassaugh was personally selected by master distiller Billy Walker. Aged in a sherry butt for 36 years, this was bottled at a strength of 47.6%.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Teasing, heathery, delicious.
Distillery Information
The Glenglassaugh distillery is a malt scotch whisky distillery which restarted production in November 2008 after being acquired by an independent investment group. Following a complete refurbishment by the new owners the distillery was re-opened on 24 November 2008 by the First Minister for Scotland Alex Salmond.
