This exceptional single cask whisky from Glenlivet has been aged for 42 years in a single ex-bourbon cask (cask 8170). Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2016, it has been selected by Berry Bros. & Rudd for their Exceptional Casks range. It has a golden amber hue, with sweet aromas of honey, vanilla, buttery toffee and dried fruits. On the palate it is smooth, with notes of candied citrus peel, subtle spices, and oak. The finish is long, with lingering notes of honey and vanilla.
