This wee gem comes to us from our friends down the road at Springbank distillery. This 10-year-old is twice distilled with peated barley and this limited edition 1992 vintage was bottled and released in 2002.
Longrow 1992 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral with orange marmalade and fresh herbs.
Palate: Big peat notes with sweet malt and candied orange peel.
Finish: Long and warming with a citrus edge.
Distillery Information
The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
