It has fragrant nose of raspberry, red rose, vague pepper and dried herbs (bay leaf, rosemary). It is medium weight, quite intense with tartish acidity and plenty of green tannin. Certainly feels somewhat Italian, but with Aussie ripeness. A bit astringent in the end.
