Alinta Reserve is a limited batch release of only 2000 bottles. Selected annually by Bladnoch's master distiller Dr Nick Savage, from a special reserve of Bladnoch's rare peated cask stocks. Presenting a nose of smoked apricot jam with woodland trees. A palate of smoky cola cubes with cinnamon and nutmeg, and a very long and warm campfire finish.

Distillery Information

Bladnoch is a long way from virtually every distillery in Scotland. It is situated on the road heading towards Stranraer and through its history it has had links to Ireland. Founded in 1817, Bladnoch continued in the ownership of the McClelland family until 1905 when it closed. In 1911 it was bought by the Irish distiller Dunville's, who owned it until 1937 until it was liquidated of stocks and equipment. Bladnoch is now owned by Australian entrepreneur David Prior, who refurbished the distillery and production resumed in 2017. We are seeing an exciting range of new bottlings with the whsikies typical grassy style in striking square bottles.
