Classic traditional column still rum from Trinidad's long-lost Caroni distillery, which closed its doors for good back in 2002. It's uncommon to see this iconic, heavy rum undergo different cask finishes, but the gang at That Boutique-y Rum Company couldn't resist a bit of experimentation, treating this 24-year-old expression to an 18-month finish in Darkness oloroso sherry octaves. Batch 14 is a release of 110 bottles.
