Project #173 Watermelon Rum | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich burnt sugar, distant hibiscus, and succulent fruits finally lead to delicate watermelon sorbet.

Palate: The watermelon takes hold on the palate with a fresh, juicy profile. The rum keeps things sweet and bold at the core with a hint of rubbery oak and charred caramel, while mellow fresh pressed melon prevails.

Finish: A tickle of warmth and sugared watermelon candies arrive towards the finish, with moist, refreshing fruit notes lasting on and on.

The crafty folks at Atom Labs have been working their socks off on flavourful rum based projects aplenty since 2020 – showcased in the fabulous Project #173 collection. Who knows what flavour they’ll come up with next? Fun fact: The boiling point of alcohol is 173.1 degrees fahrenheit, hence the name of the Project #173 rum brand.
