Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.
Palate: Flavours of charred banana bread, vanilla, citrus, plum syrup and crème de pêche, alongside gentle herbal tea and toasted coconut.
Finish: Soft sweetness and subtle oak develop into a finish reminiscent of refined Cuban rum.
Distillery Information
Strathclyde Distillery was established in 1927 in Glasgow by Seager Evans & Co. for producing neutral grain spirit for gin. It later began producing malt whisky with the addition of the Kinclaith malt distillery in 1957, although the malt production ceased in 1975.
