A limited edition bottling from the Bunnahabhain distillery on the north-east coast of Islay. This is a 14 year old single malt, distilled in 2003 and was initially aged in second-fill Sherry casks until 2011. At this point, the whisky was transferred over to yet more Sherry casks - first-fill Pedro Ximénez casks! It was bottled in 2017 at cask strength.

Distilled in 2003 at Islay's Bunnahabhain distillery, this limited edition single malt spent the first 11 years of its life in 2nd fill sherry butts before being transferred to 1st fill Pedro Ximenez casks in 2014 for another 3 years' finishing. Presented free from chill-filtration and artificial colouring at a cask strength of 54.3% abv.

Nose: Toffee, sweet dried fruits, nuts and chocolate.
Palate: Syrupy smooth with a delicious sherry influence from the PX wood, sweet raisins and sultanas, toffee and creamy chocolate.
Finish: Long with sweet dried fruits lingering.
Distillery Information
The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. Since 2014 the distillery has been owned by Distell and is one of nine active distilleries on the island.
