Strathmill 25 Year Old Special Releases 2014 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

This 25 year old Strathmill – the first appearance of the distillery in the Special Releases range – is the lightest in style of this year's line-up. Aged in refill American oak, it's sweet and creamy with the distillery's trademark grassiness.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Sweet and creamy with marmalade, vanilla, liquorice and freshly-cut grass. Stewed fruit is apparent when water is added.

Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.

Distillery Information

Strathmill is one of three distilleries within the Moray town of Keith at the heart of "Malt Whisky Country". Unlike Keith's other two distilleries of Strathisla and Glen Keith, however, Strathmill is not owned by Chivas but since 1997 by Diageo who operate it for the production of blends such as J&B whisky.
