Distillery Information

Pinhook was founded with a unique vision—to showcase how bourbon evolves over time through consistent annual vintages drawn from the same original barrels. Each year, a new “vertical” release marks the next stage in that whiskey’s journey, offering enthusiasts a rare longitudinal tasting experience. The whiskey is produced and aged at the restored Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, a site rich in bourbon heritage dating back to the 1880s. Pinhook’s approach combines meticulous blending with storytelling, capturing the spirit of craft bourbon as it matures naturally with each passing year.
