Aroma of red berries, walnuts, green tea and cookie dough, which leads to a palate filled with notes of bananas, sherry, dried fruits and crème brûlée. The finish is dry and malty, accented by flavors of biscuits, honey, pecans, citrus and oak.

Distillery Information

Let's start at the beginning. But the beginning isn't at the distillery on Speyside where you might expect. The Tamdhu story starts under the warming Spanish sun. In 1898 our founders secured their first precious shipment of sherry casks from the finest bodegas in Spain. Now over 100 years later, Tamdhu matures its whisky exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. Although the casks are exceptionally rare and expensive, we wouldn't change our methods, as we think it's the only way to create the very best single malt whisky
