Made for La Maison Du Whisky's New Vibrations series, this rum from Takamaka Distillery in the Seychelles was distilled on 11 November 2019 and aged in Le Clos Ex Pineau casks, a variety of Pineau des Charentes.

Nose: Satisfying and charming aromas.

Palate: Tropical fruit, vanilla, butterscotch, liquorice, and cassia.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

The story of Takamaka Distillery begins with the d'Offay family, whose roots in Seychelles trace back several generations. In 2000, Bernard and his father Robert embarked on a mission to create quality rum, inspired by their grandfather's passion for making Rum Arrangé.
