1970 | Oddero | Barolo

1970 produced many well-balanced, ripe wines with good perfumes in Barolo and this rare bottle from Poderi e Cantine Oddero exemplifies the quality of that vintage. Brooding aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums and a balsamic hint. On the palate, the wine is ripe, medium-bodied and rich, on the palate with flavours of shrivelled black cherries, caramel, raisins and some gravelly minerality.
