Aged 22 years in fine oak casks; distilled in 1983 by Hirsch Distillers, Bardstown, Kentucky. Hirsch Selection is a supreme hand picked series representing the finest spirits available; each chosen With connoisseurs of small batch fine spirits in mind. Produced using column stills and aged to perfection in oak casks. Hirsch is the proud maker of Hirsch Selection Kentucky Straight Rye 22 Year old , a whisky with an alcohol content of 46.5%.
Hirsch Selection 1983 22 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of dark cherries and mellow tobacco. pear-like fruit notes.
Palate: Dry, buttery oakiness and faintly spiced notes followed by a balance of smoothness and spice.
Finish: The finish is spicy and warming, with a hint of caramel and vanilla.

MGP of Indiana is a distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, producing spirits for private label sale. These are sold under about 50 different brand names by various bottling companies, with a recent addition of their own products, Till Vodka, George Remus Bourbon, and Rossville Union Straight Rye Whiskey.
