Insanely good cassis, iron, bloody blue fruits, violets, graphite, and peppery herbs all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a deep, layered, incredibly seamless texture, no hard edges, and a brilliant finish.

Elaine and Manfred Krankl own four estate vineyards. They are: Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills near Buellton, The Third Twin Vineyard near Los Alamos, Molly Aïda Vineyard in Tepusquet Canyon near Santa Maria and of course the home vineyard Cumulus near Ojai. They say their wines were born of pure passion and a wishful dream – to make something that is so distinctive and so delicious as to make it indispensable to wine lovers the world over. We are not working on a grape growing or winemaking THESIS. Elaine and Manfred want all efforts to be reflected in every glass of their wines. "Our goal has been and always will be to understand Mother Nature’s often oblique ways and act accordingly so that we may create wines that express all that Nature has so generously given us."
