Only the fourth new official bottling and the first for six years, this is an outstanding and an unusually fragrant example of this robust classic that has an unexpected spicy complexity.
Dailuaine Limited Release 34 Year Old Natural Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Light and immediate, with citrus backed by rich, creamy toffee and grainy cereals.
Palate: Smooth textured at full strength; sweet overall, with fresh acidity and a saltiness unusual in Dailuaine. This develops as a drying, cough-candy note.
Finish: There’s a peppery tingle in the warming finish.
