Nose: Bright cooked agave, caramelised coconut, vanilla, roasted pineapple, sprigs of mint and fresh‑cut grass.

Palate: Smooth and layered: notes of warm spice, nutmeg, tonka bean, citrus zest and a hint of almond‑herb complexity.

Finish: Clean and crisp with lingering citrus, subtle herbal undertones and a gentle peppery agave streak.

Mijenta is guided by Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero who emphasises sustainable practices and agave grown from seed rather than clones. The brand’s Maestra Selection series is designed to push creative boundaries, blending agave from across Mexico’s five tequila states—Guanajuato, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit and Tamaulipas. The No. 2 edition is the second in this series, and highlights how different growing regions imprint distinct flavour profiles on 100% Blue Weber agave distillates. Mijenta blends these into a single bottling to celebrate terroir, while maintaining a sharp focus on transparency, quality and craft‑driven tequila production.
