A much loved and richly flavoured single malt from Glenfarclas. This has a wonderful balance and like most other whiskies from the distillery it has a strong emphasis on Sherry cask maturation.

Nose: Deeply complex with notes of caramel apples, banana, rancio, warm pecans, buttery malt, and more.

Palate: Rich with dark chocolate raisins and figs with toffee and a little smoke.

Finish: Long and strong.

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
