Gallo. It began with a single wine, the Apothic Red, which was first released in commercial volumes in 2010. The wine is a blend of Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, made in a full-bodied style with ripe, fruit-forward characters and some residual sugar. The wine's easy-drinking style was an immediate hit and Apothic wines followed up with the Apothic Dark, a fuller and more savory red blend, and a white wine made from Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio. Apothic Inferno was produced in 2014 and was a blend of 51 percent Zinfandel with remainder made up of Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder.
