13th Colony Southern Bourbon is crafted from hand selected barrels. This traditional Bourbon is produced from a mash bill of predominantly Corn along with Rye and Malted Barley; then meticulously aged for 4 years in custom charred American Oak Barrels for a smooth, rich, and slightly sweet finish.

Nose: Aromas of spicy sweet corn & candy corn.
Palate: A fruity full body palate of robust oak, sweet corn, spicy cinnamon roll & dried fruit chutney.
Finish: And slightly sweet finish.
Distillery Information
Thirteenth Colony Distilleries was founded by four friends deep in the south of Georgia. Today, they still pride themselves is "southern style" and handmade spirits "by friends, for friends." The name celebrates the state of Georgia, the "thirteenth colony" of the original 13 that founded America.We're told by their distiller Graham Arthur that they try to source their grain locally wherever possible and make a point of returning the mash to ranchers for feed. Their yeast is their own strain they reuse from batch to batch, which would qualify their spirits as "sour mash." In response to an interview with the Whiskey Apostle, they both "produce and source" their whiskey but do not disclose all of their sources other than mentioning "friends out west."
