This single cask bottling from renowned indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co. was distilled in 2009 at Royal Brackla. Matured in a single bourbon barrel for its full 9 years, this expression has been bottled at 46% abv in 2018 producing just 348 bottles. As with all the releases in the First Editions series, this single malt is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Nose: Light and grassy with pear drops and barley sugar.
Palate: Sweet summer fruits and caramel with a hint of vanilla.
Finish: Sweet with a hint of smoke.

Royal Brackla distillery is a Highland Scotch whisky distillery on the Cawdor Estate, near Nairn in Scotland. The distillery is operated by John Dewar & Sons Ltd for Bacardi. The Brackla distillery was built in 1812 by Captain William Fraser of Brackla House on the estate of Cawdor Castle.
