It is with great pleasure that we introduce our first release of Ardmore, the famed Lowland single malt. This 8 year old ex-sherry whisky was distilled in 2003 and has been aged in bourbon casks for eight years. Aged in the coastal town of Ardmore, this whisky offers the subtle smokiness of peat with a refreshing sweetness from the ex-sherry cask. Notes of dark chocolate, orange peel, and cinnamon spice dominate the palate, followed by hints of nutmeg and cardamom. The finish is long and rich with hints of oak and tobacco. Aged in the coastal town of Ardmore, this whisky offers the subtle smokiness of peat with a refreshing sweetness from the ex-sherry cask.
