Nose: Dense and rich. Chewy toffee, golden syrup, poached pears, and dark chocolate open the way. Sticky ginger cake and buttered malt loaf join robust old oak and a touch of wood polish nestling at its core. Creamier notes of fudge and butter biscuits open up in time.

Palate: Big, bold waves of creamy vanilla sweetness couple with drying, oaken spice. Malted Milk biscuits, and the zesty, chilli zing of Tajin seasoning. Bubblegum sweetness and French toast crisp bakes join ancient grain and maple pastries.

Finish: Drying old oak, chilli flakes, root ginger, and peppercorn warmth linger, with a touch of leather, and butterscotch sweetness rounding things off.
