A limited edition released in 2012, the first in a series of bottles illustrated by Peter Arkle. This first edition was known as 'Ingredients' with the design revealing all the ingredients used to make whisky (including magic). The whisky has been matured in Spanish oak sherry butts. Limited to 6000 bottles.

Nose: Rich with honey and sticky toffee as well as some nutty notes and burnt sugar.

Palate: Quite fruity, an apple, raisin combo, fruit cake and caramel. Hints of vanilla.

Finish: Medium long, with chocolate, toffee and spices.

Distillery Information

The story of the Knockdhu distillery, and the outstanding whisky it produces, were brought to life by a man of vision. The discovery of pure water springs on nearby Knock Hill, coupled with a landscape rich in peat and barley and the nearby Great North of Scotland railway line, presented a golden opportunity to John Morrison, who purchased the Knock estate in 1892.
