Stein Distillery Rye whiskey is aged for 2 years (the minimum for the label of "straight" whiskey) and made from a grain bill of 75% rye and 25% corn. This is a style of rye whiskey sometimes called "Maryland rye" for a rye grain blended down with other grains to even out the spicy flavor.

Stein Distillery's attention to detail is kept from grain growth to harvest, through fermenting , distilling, filtering and bottling - every step is done by hand producing a high quality product for the consumer.
