W.R. Organic Rye whiskey is aged for a single month in oak barrels prior to bottling... a kind of polishing in their minds. It is made from a blend of organic rye and wheat grains. The label is meant to be a tribute to William Welter, the grandfather of distiller Bill Welter. Because of the very light aging, they've opted to list this as an un-aged whiskey to help place it within a likely peer group.
