This ruby beauty was originally released as a Travel Retail Exclusive, before finding its way to our shop. Distilled at Glengoyne, the Valley of the Geese, this single malt has been matured for its full 28 years in first fill Oloroso sherry casks before bottling at 46.8% abv.
Glengoyne 28 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and complex notes of dark chocolate, marmalade and spice.
Palate: Smooth and nutty with spiced cherries, cocoa and fresh red berries.
Finish: Long and dry with a definite sherry influence, coconut and warm spices.

Glengoyne Distillery is a whisky distillery continuously in operation since its founding in 1833 at Dumgoyne, north of Glasgow, Scotland. Glengoyne is unique in producing Highland single malt whisky matured in the Lowlands.
