This impressive 33-year-old single malt from Aberlour is the 92nd edition in the independent Decadent Drinks/Whisky Sponge series! It was drawn from a combo of two refill hogsheads, one from 1989 and one from 1991 and bottled at natural marrying strength.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

Distillery Information

In 1879 James Fleming, a grain dealer and son of a local tenant, founded the Aberlour Distillery. At the time, he counted a number of whisky distilleries as his customers, and after purchasing more barley than he was able to sell he decided to pursue his long-held dream of opening his own distillery.
