Glenlivet XXV is the oldest whisky in the basic distillery offer. She debuted in 2007 in Asia and a year later in Europe and the USA. The whisky was aged in carefully monitored barrels and spent the last two years in Oloroso sherry first filling barrels. It is produced in limited lots, the number of which is visible on the label. The whole is completed by a solid oak box and a certificate signed by four key production persons. In 2012, this whisky won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Nose: Rich. There are notes of chewy sultanas and morello cherry; dried herbs and cooked fruits with apple crumble and a balanced acidity; crème de cacao.

Palate: Thick and smooth. There are notes of Sherried peels and sultanas; chewy toffee and walnut; dried fruits emerge with a juicy touch.

Finish: Long and rich with winter spice.

The Glenlivet distillery is a distillery near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland that produces single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet, and the production place of the Scottish whisky of the same name. It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since.
