This 12-year-old expression comes from Ardmore in the Scottish Highlands. Matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, this single malt is finished in European oak port pipes bringing a sweet wine influence to the peaty Highlander.

Nose: Peaty and sweet with summer fruits, red grapes and aged oak.
Palate: Burnt orange peel and mellow peat with some vanilla from the bourbon cask influence.
Finish: Light and sweet with some sweet wine aspects.
Distillery Information
Ardmore distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery. The Ardmore distillery sits at the highest point of the Northern railway line, 600 feet above sea level. Close to the small village of Kennethmont, the proximity to the railway line allowed founder Adam Teacher to transport materials from Glasgow to this remote corner of Aberdeenshire, helping the distillery flourish.
