Part of the First Editions range from Glasgow-based independent bottler, Hunter Laing & Co., this 8-year-old Speyside single malt was distilled in 2009, producing only 420 bottles in 2017. Presented non chill-filtered and with its natural colour at a strength of 46% abv.

Nose: Meaty with toffee and vanilla notes.
Palate: Rich and oily with barley, dried fruits and hints of coffee.
Finish: Heavy and satisfying.
Distillery Information
Mortlach distillery is a distiller of Scotch whisky in Dufftown, Moray, Scotland. Founded in 1823, the distillery is currently owned by Diageo. The whisky is a key component in several Johnnie Walker bottlings., while Diageo also markets four Mortlach single malts. The still pictured above is Dufftown distillery.
