Under Richard Seale, Foursquare has become one of the most respected modern rum producers, particularly for its transparent approach to maturation and its refusal to add sugar or other flavourings to its aged rums. The distillery combines traditional double-retort pot still distillation with continuous Coffey column distillation, allowing it to create highly distinctive blends of the two styles.
