A vintage 2011 single malt here from the Speyside Distillery, aged for 12 years in oloroso sherry casks and then bottled by Signatory. Small Batch Edition #11 is presented without additional colouring or chill-filtration at 48.2% ABV.

Nose: Impressive and charming nose.

Palate: The palate is an explosion of delicate flavors, nice and delightful mouthfeel.

Finish: Impressive length on the finish, very unique and complex.

Distillery Information

"1962: George Christie commissions Alex Fairlie to build a distillery on the land he had purchased six years earlier. 1987: Work on the distillery is finally completed. 1990: 12th December Distillation commences and stocks are later laid down at George Christie's warehouse in Glasgow."
