Kirk and Sweeney is a Caribbean rum produced in the Dominican Republic by J Armando Bermudez & Co., a rum distiller in Santiago de los Caballeros, for California’s 3 Badge Beverage Corp. Bermudez, among the oldest distilleries in the Dominican Republic, dates back to 1852, and is among the largest rum distillers on the island. Most Dominican rums are based on sugarcane juice rather than on molasses. This is a feature Dominican distillers’ shares with the rhum agricole (rums) produced in the French West Indies.
