Detailed Description

Ardnamurchan ‘AD 01.21:01’ Founded in 2014 by acclaimed independent bottlers Adelphi, the Ardnamurchan distillery’s first single malt whisky release has been among the most anticipated releases in recent history. Matured in sea-side warehouses on the most westerly peninsula in Scotland, it was selected from a 50/50 combination of peated and unpeated spirit maturing in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The distillery’s signature honeycomb, waxy citrus peel and oyster-shell saltyness is surrounded by threads of bonfire peat smoke and a warming tone of cracked black pepper.
